For each serving:
Break a matzah into pieces into a bowl.
Pour boiling water over the matzoh and let it soak for 1 minute.
Drain.
Beat in 1 egg.
Add a pinch of salt.
Pour the mixture into a buttered frying pan and fry until the egg begins to set.
Flip it over and finish until it's crisp on the outside.
Serve with fresh strawberries or your favorite preserves.
